Removing these stories not only erases our true history, it erases American values we all share: bravery, liberty, freedom, and the American dream.
In partnership with Courageous Conversations Global Foundation, this work sets out to help defend students and their freedom to learn so we never see an America Erased.
Alongside the film, we created Erased Posters that took iconic photos of heroes like MLK, Ruby Bridges, and Toni Morrison and removed them from ever existing.
behind each photo was an excerpt from a banned piece.
and we built this website to house this work and offer more ways to get involved, such as purchasing a banned book or joining a coalition.
